Christmas is over, let's bring in the New Year!

22 WEEKS... GROW BABY, GROW!

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain: I think since my last weigh in on the 19th, I might weigh

about 133, so that is what..8 more pounds?

That can't be right. My scale is broken!! For sure!! ;)

Maternity clothes? I was given a bunch a great maternity clothes for Christmas!

I love all of the items, but they are still too big for me to wear right now,

they will work in about a month or so!

Stretch marks? False alarm!! No stretch marks for me!

Sleep: Still probably the worst thing ever! My hips have been getting really sore

lately and I hate it!!

Best moment this week: Rarr, let me think... OOOOH! Jordan upgraded my ring!!

The first one was beautiful and I will forever

love it, but he insisted that we go back and look at "better" ones and we picked out

a slightly bigger ring. My goodness am I in love!

It is the prettiest thing anyone has ever bought me, and the most thoughtful as

well! I love my soon to be husband! I also got to

spend some great quality time with my Best girlfriends! We went out to dinner at

a really delicious upscale burger restaurant!

It was nice to have some adult time!

Miss Anything? Yes, not the usual drinking (although I miss that too!) I miss being

able to walk around and not lose my balance, not forgetting to do things like starting

the laundry. On Christmas day I fell down 5 stairs and hurt my back and left shoulder

very badly. I must have pulled a couple muscles because my arm is killing me.

Movement: HeHeHe! I am going to love answering this question! On the friday before Christmas, Jordan and I went to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra and I promise

you there was one song that Max freaked out over!!! He was hysterically moving

around in my stomach and it was the coolest thing ever!

Food cravings: Breakfast foods, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, yummy

delicious sweet breakfast food.

Anything making you queasy or sick: still the regular wings and stuff

Gender: Boy

Labor Signs: No, but I think I had a Braxton Hicks Contraction last night.

I screamed for about 30 seconds and Jordan freaked out. It was scary and hurt so

bad!

Symptoms: Heartburn, hip pain ( I hope my hips aren't spreading yet)

Belly Button in or out? still flat

Rings on or off? on

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: Celebrating the New Year with my loved ones and Jordan,

and going to spend the night at my best friend's house while Jordan is out of town

for the UH bowl game in Dallas on the 2nd of January.

Week 21. Better late than never!

How far along? 21 weeks, no picture for week 21. Sorry :( Friends. 

Total weight gain: When I went to the doctor on the 19th, I weighed 125.8. I have gained a total of 6 pounds during my pregnancy.  
Maternity clothes? I officially bought maternity clothes! Some pants, 2 really cute shirts and a nursing bra (which I swear is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn!!!)
Stretch marks? No, but I have seen some discoloration on my stomach and I think it may be the start of some stretch marks... I'm praying its not. 
Sleep: Sleep, what is that again? I have been so tired lately. I sleep better during the day than I do at night.
Best moment this week: Our ultrasound that my mom, sister and Jordan got to go to.... AND becoming engaged!!!! Love is in the air! (well it always has been, it's just official now)
Miss Anything? More than one glass of wine!!! I tried this new red wine last night and it was delicious!!!! I just wish I could have more than one glass, but on the bright side... I'm not hung over and I feel great today!
Movement: Max is a mover and a shaker! I tried to take a video of his moving and every time i'd pres record he'd stop. hahaha
Food cravings: Waffles, candy, sweet breakfast stuff, yum. My mouth is watering!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Eggrolls!!!! Buffalo Wings. I don't even want to think about it.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Back aches this week, and my feet are killing me.
Belly Button in or out? flat and very very thin. I can almost poke it out. weird!!!
Rings on or off? I can finally use this question because I have an engagement ring!!!! :) and it's on!!!
Happy or Moody most of the time: I have been so blissfully happy!!!! it's very out of character for me. lol
Looking forward to: Christmas!!!!!!

2011 has been a great, great year!!!

The most amazing thing happened to me last night! My wonderful boyfriend, Jordan, proposed!!! It was the sweetest thing ever and I could not ask for a better man to spend the rest of my life with. We already knew we were going to be together forever, we are having a baby together!!! I had no idea he was going to propose though!!

The details:

We were out with our mutual work friends after my work Christmas Party and everyone kept asking when we were getting married. (Jordan and I have been best friends for 7 years now and dating for 2, so it feels like we are already married because we know each other so well.) I kept telling all the girls that I didn't really have control over when or if he proposed. I can't put a gun to his head and tell him to do it. Besides, either way, we both know we are spending the rest of our lives together!! <3

Well he told me in front of a couple friends that we would get married when we got home that night. I was like "yea ok babe, whatever!" (I honestly thought he was just kidding around like he normally does, because he always asks me to marry him.)

So when we got home I visited with his dad and little sister as usual, downstairs and then Jordan walks in...

Me: Aren't you suppose to do something special tonight?

Scott (Jordan's Dad): What is he suppose to do?

Me: He said he was going to "propose" and we are going to get married...

Now, because my wonderful man has a great sense of humor, that is when he came up with this clever little "decoy" to get me to turn around so he can grab the ring from the "hiding spot". Jordan starts being Jordan and grabs this money of his sister and crumbles it up into a little ball and throws it, at this time Callie is screaming "Jordan! That is my money"... I go up a couple steps to grab the money for her and I throw it over the banister and turn around, much to my surprise Jordan is there holding a beautiful white box with a beautiful ring. Just for me!

My priceless reaction: "Shut the .... up!"

That just came out, like word vomit, I had no control. It was pretty funny too!

I had no idea this was coming at all!!! I was very surprise and instantly covered my mouth and started crying!!

Jordan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and I said yes!

I cannot begin to tell you how great of a year 2011 has been. With the news of our baby, my graduation from college and our engagement, 2012 will be even better!

It is FINALLY over!

Graduation, Fall 2011. It felt so great to walk across that stage (although, the announcer pronounced my name WRONG!) My family was able to see me and support me on Friday and it felt great to have my loved ones around. It was also kinda cool to think "Max is walking with his Mom!!!" All of my friends thought that was kinda neat! Now, onto the teaching certification. Hopefully all that works out like it is supposed to. 

Whose House?! Coogs House!!!!

I am officially DONE with college!!!! It feels so great, yet at the same time I am a little depressed because college was a great time of my life!! I learned a lot, met some cool friends, supported my Cougar Family among many other things! 

I graduate on Friday and walk across that stage in front of all my friends and family.    :) 

I received my ring this past weekend and I know I need to put up a picture but my iPhoto application on my computer is not working right now, :( so sad. I use iPhoto for everything.

20 Weeks, Go Max, Go!

How far along? 20 weeks and 2 days in this picture

Total weight gain: I currently weigh 128, So I think that in general I have gained about 6lbs. from my pre-pregnancy weight. 
Maternity clothes? I have borrowed some Maternity shirts from my girlfriends, but other than that I just wear all my regular clothes and some of Jordan's too. 
Stretch marks? no
Sleep: I hate bedtime, it is a depressing time for me. I can never get a full, good nights sleep. Last night I didn't fall asleep until 5am, and then I ended up tossing and turning until 11am. I NEVER SLEEP IN. Today I am exhausted. I sleep better on the couch and I am not totally sure why.
Best moment this week: Realizing that I actually look pregnant now!!!
Miss Anything? Last night we went out with another couple to a friend's show and I had to drink Hot Chocolate... :( I really miss having the option to drink, even though, when I did, I really didn't drink much. 
Movement: Max moves a bunch, although the other day I got really nervous because he wasn't moving any... It had to have been the scariest thing so far. 
Food cravings: Nothing really right now, I just love food and want to eat all the time.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Eggrolls!!!! Yuck!
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Heartburn, heartburn, heartburn and headaches.
Belly Button in or out? flat
Happy or Moody most of the time: Really emotional lately. It is horrible, sometimes I just cry and cry and cry and don't really have a reason why I am crying.
Looking forward to: the Holidays! And our next appointment on the 19th!!!! 

18 and 19 weeks, Sorry I am a bad blogger!

How far along? Right now I am 19 weeks and 6 days, Friday will make 20 weeks!!!! EEK, half way through!!!

Total weight gain: I believe at this moment I am 120, although I weighed in at 122 earlier this week.
Maternity clothes? Ehhh, Some of my friends say they will let me borrow their maternity shirts and stuff and I have borrowed pants from some of my taller friends. 
Stretch marks? No way, and hopefully never. Lotion is my BFF
Sleep: Horribly, it is amazing what my love (Jordan) can sleep through, sometimes I wake up shouting because I am in so much pain and he doesn't even realize it.
Best moment this week: I love feeling my little man kick, and sometimes he sticks his butt or maybe it is jis head out and you can see it on my stomach. It is this little knot, and it is sooo cool!!!
Miss Anything? Caffeine, alcohol, etc.  
Movement: All the time, that sometimes when it doesn't happen I get really nervous. 
Food cravings: FOOD!!! you name it, I crave it, and sometimes I will throw it up. There are plenty  of things that sound just down right disgusting!!!
Anything making you queasy or sick: :( yes, brushing my teeth still. I still have morning sickness, yuck.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Round Ligament Pain

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy with the occasional mood swings.
Looking forward to: Getting my grades back for school, I am getting so anxious. Christmas!!!!! Graduation!!!!! 

Just the other day I went online to amazon.com and bought some MOVIES for my little man!!! I was in love with the Muppets when I was younger so it only felt right to indulge and get them on DVD for Max. 

I honestly still can't believe that next year I am going to be a MOMMY!!!! That is so exciting!!! I've always wanted children and have always been so good with them, its just crazy to think that I am going to have a sweet baby boy! Jordan and I really need to get on the nursery, we have not registered for anything "nursery" nor have we cleaned the room. We need to do that pronto!!!!
